The lights were on full blast inside the Normandy tonight, making it far easier to see what was happening. Three hooded figures, one with prominently glowing yellow eyes, the only visible feature of the figures, surrounded Joker(Doc) as he rested in his chair, watching something lewd sounding on a screen. As the figures moved to strike, Tali’Zorah(Melehan) came up from engineering. She tried to stop them, but ultimately was hit by a homing shot from one of the hooded figures. With her out of the way, they moved quickly to finish their mission, but before they could they were scared off by someone else coming up to investigate the noise. Joker was taken to the medbay, but it would seem that someone had poisoned the medigel used to treat him, and he was found dead the next morning as well.

The remaining crew came back to my office, the deaths clearly having taken a toll on them. Perhaps today will yield more results.

What? It's true. I've used it like, a good 4 times on this page alone, generally because of typos of my own, or simply to signal to other people that it works (three fucking times already, which you'd think would make you guys eventually start to believe me).
If you think I'm just playing mindgames with you to try and get you to 'self-incriminate' with a big old 'edited' line on a post, just go post somewhere else on the forum and try it yourself, because it's not just something in the Werewolf board, it's all over the forum. That's how I figured it out in the first place.

To be clear, one of the usual unwritten main established rules of Werewolf is Don't Edit your Posts.  It's even written in the tips thread.  So when you're popping up saying "Oh hey look, here's this loophole for the rule if you just edit really fast."  It gets my attention.

So rather than trying to exploit such loophole, just...you know, don't edit your posts.  Or do and let it be known to the world that you are by letting that line be shown.  Taking advantage of such a loophole, regardless of how inconsequential or minor it is, is something that can help damage the game, even if it's felt to be such a minor thing.

i mean, i'm dead and my role was revealed to be town, so idk dude
it's not like this would allow people to realize 'oh shit i have revealed i was secretly a Wolf the whole time' and unfuck it, because those realizations typically take rather longer than a minute or two - i was saying 'if you've made a typo and notice you can fix it if you're real quick'

What we know beyond a doubt is that Gerrick likely is a plant and definitely has a negative power role. Unless anyone has a better idea I say we lynch him.

Erm, I'm not sure what I can say on the matter since it says in the rules that I can't reveal my role. :/

But I don't see how you can know beyond a doubt that I'm a plant. Even if there were a power that forces people to speak a certain way, could that really be considered a negative power role (let alone indicative of that person being a plant)? Seems like a waste of a lynch to me.

Regardless, I'm going to Vote: Pengu. He didn't vote day 1 and voted for himself day 2, which seems like he's trying to fly under the radar.

Yes. After all, with you making a player speak gibberish you can prevent a power role with important information from sharing it in a crucial round.

But such a power could also be used against the plants, preventing them from being able to carry out some plan through their posts.

What are the odds of that? Much safer to remove you from play.

Removing me from play won't remove a plant, though, and as we saw last night phase, the plants can kill up to two crew members a night. Don't think we have the luxury of wasting a lynching on me.

Wait what does "the coerced" mean @Ruguo or is that also something that we should know about?  I couldn't find anything on the Mass Effect wiki

The coerced was my spin on the lovers/Cupid in this game. Basically they knew who the other was and we're working together to try and be the last two standing. If one died, the other did too, which is ultimately what happened here.

So Gerrick it would seem that, rather than being the capability of the plants killing two people per night, Doc and Melehan were like masons who both get killed if one gets killed.

Gerrick, he has a power where he can make whoever he targets speak gibberish. He is either a plant or a neutral. For lack of a better target, I would bet neutral.
