Excalibur for Thane of Roleplay
Hello everyone! This is Excalibur back once more asking you to vote for me for the position of Thane of Roleplay. I'm especially excited for this term because I'm working on a little something to present to the cabinet next term that, if successful, should give Wintreath not one, but
two casual roleplays for players to peruse.
1) Why are you running for this position?I am running for this position, first of all because of my passion for RP, and second of all, to finish the projects that I began at the end of my current term.
2) What do you aim to accomplish as thane? As part of this, you must include at least one thing that you promise to do beyond the minimum listed duties of the position during your term. It should be measurable, so that it's black and white whether you fulfilled this mandate at the end of the term if you are elected.I think I have been making this promise for a bit, but I hope to revive Wintreath's roleplay community, and to use/add on to more of the work done by Weissreich.
2a) If you are an incumbent running for re-election, did you fulfill your mandate from the September election? If not, why didn't you?I did not fulfill my mandate for my past term, mostly because I was off traveling for most of the summer and prepping for final exams in the spring.
3) What qualifications or experience do you have in the area that you are running in?I do most of my roleplaying on a site called the RPRepository (which is currently undergoing modernization) which is where I get most of my experience from. I have also participated in the Wintrean nation RP in the past and the Fighting Thirteenth, which is currently on hiatus.
4) How do you plan to have the time to fulfill the duties of the position until the next election in March?I plan to dedicate more time this term during my others to fulfill my mandates from last term and this term. After midterms in December, I should be much more available and will dedicate even more time to my position.
5) Are you currently a part of any other NationStates regional or organizational government? If so, please include those regions and positions.None
