    Greetings, new Underhusen! Now that the election is finally over, we need to go about the business of selecting a new Speaker. Over the next 48 hours, please post here if you are interested in standing for Speaker...afterwards we will have a 48 hour election to determine who it will be unless only one person stands. :)

    I'l also stand, but I'll post my reasons for doing so here, as I do think posting a campaign thread for Speaker is somewhat bad form, and is also somewhat distasteful.

    In any case, I have experience, I know the Speakership. I have a few things I would like to do in the Speakership which I would look to get done as soon as I can. I know the rules and laws better than anyone, and I have written, proposed, and gotten passed more than anyone else in Wintreath. I am probably the most qualified for the job, and I can do the job well.
