1) Why are you running for this position? I am running for this position, because I want to serve this region by reaching out to others, in any means possible.

2) What do you aim to accomplish as thane? I want to encourage other regions (especially our allies) to ask for our aid if necessary in GP matters, reach out to new regions in the NSSphere, assist in planning interregional events, coordinate with the Thane of Gaming on which games to play in future events that may be held, and encouraging or listening to any and all of our citizens' sound suggestions in terms of regional outreach.

3) What qualifications or experience do you have in the area that you are running in? I have held several ambassadorial posts in two regions in the past, with one of my first tasks being regional outreach. I've also been elected as Public Outreach Officer in my college SG IRL for one year, if that counts.

4) How do you plan to have the time to fulfill the duties of the position until the next election in March? With my not-so-busy schedule, I've planned to spend at least an hour or two each day on my duties, on Discord or forum. It is something I can work around with.

5) Are you currently a part of any other NationStates regional or organizational government? If so, please include those regions and positions. Nope.

I believe that we can openly help other regions who wants to get into GP while also limiting some of our involvement (and controversy, in addition to that) by taking a jingoist stance on many NSGP matters. I know that NSGP is a snakepit. But isolationism in regards to NS politics would eventually lead to regional stagnation.

Jingoism is nationalism in the form of aggressive foreign policy, such as a country's advocacy for the use of threats or actual force, as opposed to peaceful relations, in efforts to safeguard what it perceives as its national interests.

LMAO. Well, no. I meant that we would be using this stance to limit our involvement in NSGP, but not that much, potentially beyond our obligation to uphold treaties. Such as reaching out to other UCRs actively. I would be creating a list of regions that we could reach out to. A certain former TEP Delegate masterfully executed this tactic, shielding the region's FA activity from NSGP, while also being able to reach out to GP-oriented UCRs, and not drawing neither flak nor controversy over the decision to do so.
