The Underhusen hereby extends its gratitude and blessings to the greatest of all starchy foods, the Potatoe, as an established regional symbol upon the following grounds:a. The tuberous growth of the perennial nightshade plant Solanum tuberosum, aka. the potatoe, is an important symbol of Wintrean culture that has existed since its very birth.b. Our citizens have shown great interest and loyalty to the concept, best personified by the regional Pope of Potatoes Crushita and the religion to which they serve.c. The potatoe, as a symbol, will always be in our hearts and minds as Wintreans.d. The potatoe can be made into a variety of delicious dishes such as chips, crisps, latkes, scalloped potatoes, et cetera.e. The myth that potatoes are fatty is false, as they consist of 60-70% of water.f. Potatoes provide an excellent source of potassium.
When I first ran for Skrifa back in the 29th term, I promised I would write a potatoe resolution. Now it's finally here!
