1. This resolution is to be cited as the Affirmation of the Righteous Potatoe Resolution.
Resolution
2. The Underhusen hereby extends its gratitude and blessings to the greatest of all starchy foods, the Potatoe, as an established regional symbol upon the following grounds:
a. The tuberous growth of the perennial nightshade plant Solanum tuberosum, aka. the potatoe, is an important symbol of Wintrean culture that has existed since its very birth.
b. Our citizens have shown great interest and loyalty to the concept, best personified by the regional Pope of Potatoes Crushita and the religion to which they serve.
c. The potatoe, as a symbol, will always be in our hearts and minds as Wintreans.
d. The potatoe can be made into a variety of delicious dishes such as chips, crisps, latkes, scalloped potatoes, et cetera.
e. The myth that potatoes are fatty is false, as they consist of 60-70% of water.
f. Potatoes provide an excellent source of potassium.

When I first ran for Skrifa back in the 29th term, I promised I would write a potatoe resolution. Now it's finally here!

I would prefer consistently spelling the word as Potatoe, but otherwise this looks like a nice cultural resolution.

I shall show the world the kindness of Amalyism by allowing even such a base religion as the one being honoured to have its day in the sun.

(For real, I like the act, but agree we should spell it as "Potatoe.")
