I nominate Surprised Cartoon Characters.

I nominate awkward party scenes since new years is coming up.

I would have liked to nominate poverty, because that's the state we find ourselves in after 6 weeks of January, but that's a bit too insensitive, even for me.

So how about Bad Life Choices?

With the recent discovery of my legal status, I also nominate Fictional Invaders! (also, I call dibs on Invader Zim).

In light of a new year and the start of a new calendar, the Calendar Council has inveigled inspired me to nominate Revolution.

I've also nominated Alternate History since I liked that nomination that barely lost a few months ago.

And the winning theme is Alternate History! So I encourage everyone to adding it to your avatars for the month.

I went with the one of the most common alternate history figures and situations I see in alternate history media.

I went with my favorite AH timeline (or at least it was, not sure about what I think about it now since it's been awhile).

Mine is E.T. the Extra-Terrestrial as FDR at the Yalta Conference in Komar and Melamid's Yalta 1945. Not exactly alternate history, but I think it fits.
