Title
1. This bill shall be cited as the Reon Commendation Act.

Recognition
2. Wintreath notes the numerous achievements of Reon, including:
(a) Contributing to both the Underhusen and Overhusen repeatedly, working on laws such as the Monarch-Underhusen Rights Removal Amendment Act,
(b) Serving as World Assembly Delegate, as well as Jarl of WA Affairs, for almost three years, representing the Region on the international stage admirably and keeping the population informed on WA news,
(c) Fostering the region's culture as Thane of Culture, encouraging expansion of and participation in the Dumping Grounds, a foremost attraction to Wintreath,
(d) Outstanding service to the region both as a member of government, a legislator and as a citizen,
(e) Work as one of the first members of the Wintreath Minecraft Server building the community there,

3. Also noting that Reon's foremost contributions to Wintreath were as a pleasant, affable, friendly and conscientious member of the Wintreath Community that made the community as a whole better from his presence.

4. The Storting hereby awards Reon the Commendation of Wintreath.

I vote Nay.

Now, I'm not one to just randomly vote against things, however I do have a few issues that would prevent me from being able to vote for this.

First is the fact that the only reason given, with any form of example, is the fact that he was a part of the community, which while it isn't the worst thing, it still feels lacking to me. The act goes on about things he did, positions he held, while at the same time just saying that the best thing he did was be a part of our community. Additionally, having been friends with Reon and having been around during his time here, I'm not entirely sure that he would even want this.

The reasons I didn't speak up sooner, aside from RL issues, is the fact that I'm not sure my issues are able to be dealt with, and are probably personal. However, I still don't think I can bring myself to vote for this act, it just feels wrong to do so.

In the end, though, this act is PASSED. It now moves to the Overhusen, where Chairman @Wuufu is to introduce it for a vote. I'll leave it open for @Evanlicious to record his vote for.
