I can get two silver reward games, but I don't recognize any of them (except for AudoSurf which I don't think I'd play). Anybody have some suggestions for me?

If you enjoy puzzle games, don't mind black-and-white graphics, and like M.C. Escher-style geometry, I'd recommend The Bridge.

I have heard about Goat Simulator but I am not sure if it is good.
Dino D-Day seems like a fun game but it sounds like it is multiplayer only.

You might just have to go through all the games in Steam to check them out. The only one I've played is The Bridge, and I'd second that recommendation. Goat Simulator, Getting Over It, and Contagion are among the most popular.

Yeah, just choose the game, and then whatever you do with it after that is up to you.

According to this announcement, it'll last until all other festival games are over. I'm assuming Wintermoot is counting the Escape Room as one of those games. Since it's still going, and there's Tokens on the line:

Yeah, I'm really trying to win the spam wars game, and that does offer tokens. At first, I felt really bad that as a visitor I might get any of the awards, but I think I've definitely contributed a bunch. That was never the point, but it is a really cool bonus.

Aww... see, now you've guilt-tripped me. There are a few games I'm interested in, but I can always wait for a sale; I don't feel strongly about any of them. That's so kind!

Oh nonsense I'm going to try and win legitimately--I am really gunning the square game mostly for the prestige of winning the competition... the reward would just be an added bonus lol xD

I'm in it for the prestige, but also for making friends. I'd hate for my victory to get in the way of that. I was going to offer to throw the competition, irrespective of fairness for the other players, because I think everyone will agree that that is a super nice idea for your bro.

Speaking of games, we really should get more strategy games going as a region.  I think the Civ V stuff stagnated, but recently I think that HOI 4 would be kind of a fun regional game... or something else Paradox.  I've really appreciated their games of late (with the exception of the millions of paid DLCs and having to wait years before getting a good enough deal lol).

I never really liked Civ V, which is odd, because one would expect that that's exactly the kind of game I'd like. I've been drifting towards more abstract puzzle-type games, though those are rarely multiplayer. Of the multiplayer ones in my collection, my favorites are Age of Empires III, Total War Rome II, Arma 3, ... and maybe Europa Universalis IV. I also like Town of Salem, though that's an entirely different genre.

AoE was my favorite game for a long time, and most Total War games are pretty awesome.  EU4 is also awesome!!
