Section I: Basic Information
1) Please take a moment to introduce yourself to us! What led you here, what your interests are, what you hope to get out of being a part of our community as a Citizen, and anything else you would like us to know.
I am, quite frankly, a huge nerd (and proud!)  I DM tabletop games with a few friends, write books, do lots of world building, and have even created a language for one of my races.  I also absolutely love strategy games. (Paradox Interactive's games are my favorite!)  In regards to NationStates, I received your telegram and knew instantly that you were the right region for me.  You seemed very friendly and I prefer being with a smaller region because it's easier to get involved.

2) What timezone are you in?

3) How did you find out about Wintreath? If you received a telegram, please include the nation that sent it so they can receive credit!
As above, I received your telegram.  It was sent by Wintermoot.

4) What interested you in becoming a member of the community?
From your telegram I could tell that you were a friendly bunch, and that proved to be the case very quickly.  Within minutes of joining I was messaged by one of our fellow members to say hello, and we chatted for a while.  Plus I love the whole Norse aesthetic.

Section II: NationStates (You can skip this if you are not involved with NationStates)
5) What is the name of your Wintreath nation in Wintreath?
We are the Grashakiir, a small, isolated tribe that has only recently come into contact with the world at large.  Rooted in their ancient traditions, many of them refuse to adapt and would simply prefer to be left alone to their shamanic and peaceful ways.  But the Elder Shamans have decided we must seek alliances if we are to survive, and in the Wintreath we saw a bit of ourselves.
To be direct, we are called the "Grashakiir".

6) Do you have nations in any other regions? If so, where? Also, do you serve in any official roles in any of them? If so, what are they?
I used to have a nation called Ravenslocke and they were part of Osiris, but after a few months' break I decided I wanted to start anew.

7) Are you new to NationStates?
Relatively.  I played as Ravenslocke, my first nation, for three months or so before taking a break due to a busier schedule. 

In any case, I am very happy to be here among such friendly people.  The reason I grew bored of Ravenslocke was because Osiris was not a region I could ever be very involved in.  But Wintreath seems far, far better.  May the elements grant you strength, my brothers and sisters.

When you said your people prefer to be left alone to their peaceful ways, that strike a chord with me...it's how I feel a lot of the time, and I think it's historically how the Wintrean community has felt in matters of foreign affairs, so just from that I think you've found the right place. =]
