A roleplay of possibly infinite possibilities, but also structured? Is such a thing possible? Indeed.

Looking at my name you may see I do not have many posts, but I have been very active on Discord under the name AJ. Here is my offer.

Pandemonium. A group name for both a single dimension and a dimensional cluster. Many, many years ago the realm of Xaelinoc expanded into a realm named Pandemonium, and the ruler of both planes became very, very powerful. He took the name of God-King. Santioc Demonous, God-King, had big plans. He planned to conquer the neighboring dimensions. After the Great War, which he did so, he unified them all under his crown dimension, Pandemonium. Here we are today. We have five dimensions to offer. Alissa, the plane of the humans, named after their Goddess. Santioc, the realm of the high class angels. Xaelinoc, ruled by the Heir of the God-King, realm of the demons. Bael'Kath, the realm of the horrors, ever changing. Olv'Thrane, the realm of the World Tree, and the eternal guardian Elves. All swear servitude to Xaelinoc, and more importantly Pandemonium, but no such vow is to each other. These realms compete with each other, each trying to be stronger than the other, and sometimes have outright invasions. Each realm is under the whim of their duke, bound by law to not attack each other directly, but they do attack each other's realms with their armys, a loop hole that exists as long as they don't lead them themselves. You can choose to serve one of the four Dukes in their efforts to be the top, or choose to serve the Heir himself and play the diplomatic game in the Royal Court.

There are many choices in the Multi-Verse. Where lies your dream part of Pandemonium?

Let me explain how this fits with Wintreath...AJ has developed lore for RPs and been involved in managing them for a long time now, but the RP site he was contributing to treated him very badly and basically forced him out in a way that's a lot like what led me to leave Spiritus, so now he's doing his own thing. I know how passionate AJ is about developing RPs, and I know from my own experience how hungry he is to make something even better than the thing he was previously with, and just between those two things I think he's going to make something great.

At the same time, our own RP scene is pretty dead, in spite of the fact that RP was the number one interest mentioned in Citizenship applications over the last year. There's a demand for RP that isn't really being filled! So I felt like there was opportunity for both of us here, and I proposed an offer that he accepted.

This will be an unofficial Wintreath RP that is totally his (as all unofficial projects are). He'll build the RP and lead it as he otherwise would have, plus have access to the community for it, and it'll be something that we can promote as part of the community experience and at least partially fill a hole in what people expect as a region, which will bring new players over to it. As things go forward, the option to regionalize it and make it an official part of Wintreath will be on the table if we both think it's a good idea.

It's basically an investment in AJ and his project, one that I wouldn't make if I didn't believe in the project and the person behind it. As I said before, he's very passionate about developing RPs and RP lore, and I know he's put in time he doesn't really have to do so...besides that, he's been a good member and friend to the community for years, and it feels good to help him on something that I think will also benefit the region. And the premise just sounds awesome, so I'm looking forward to seeing how it develops, even if I'm not a RPer myself. I highly encourage anyone interested to check it out!

I too am on the server

Replying to this thread to show it is not dead, but still under construction in another Discord channel. After some leaving and inactivities, I shuffled up the people making the worlds, and I'm really excited for this version of it. I hope to have it open by the end of April.

Just checking in on this. Has the newest server opened up yet?
