Hello everyone!  Once again, I am back to run for the Delegacy of Wintreath, to safeguard our region from horribly penned WA legislation, and to approve basically every other proposal to ensure an ample supply of legislation in the World Assembly. 

Year to date (I've been delegate for a while now) we have accomplished some great things.  But there are still several goals that are still being worked toward.  These are compiled in the (not exhaustive) list below:

(1) There was the series of polls which generated nice inter-regional fun and some RMB chatter, and additionally this resulted in the current regime for deciding WA Delegate votes, ie the delegate voting with the majority of WA members of Wintreath (as determined by the poll, though it should be mentioned that this is the way it works on account of the poll determining "The delegate shall vote based on a mystic combination of their own whims, the wind, astrology, and nice red uniforms."  Based on the successes of the random pollings in generating activity, over the next summer term, I would attempt to expand this programme again, as we enter seasons where people generally have more time on their hands.

(2) Over the course of my tenure, the number of delegate WA endorsements has gone from 30ish at the lowest point to now hovering about 40 (38-41 over the past month or so to be exact).  But this still could probably be improved, in my opinion, by employing a system like TNP's World Assembly Development Program or a different method with a similar goal. 

(3) One thing that I have not done as much of as I would like to is to undertake the expansion of the Wintreath WA influence in NationStates, but this would involve careful coordination with our interregional partners and allies, and careful growth of our regional WA power (see (2)). 

(4) Growth of Wintreath in WA legislation.  We do not have a great presence in the writing sections of the World Assembly, and this could very easily be expanded, especially if we harness the capabilities of our awesome community and its passions in a variety of issues! 

All the above being said, feel free to comment below to wish luck, request FOIA things, comment on particular platform positions, suggest improvements for our current system in and around the WA, and such.  Or just comment and say hello!!

Greetings, and welcome to the campaign! I have some more questions.

1) The core issue behind many of the weaknesses and things that still need to be worked on that you point out is that there just isn't much interest in the World Assembly. What would you do to grow interest in an institution that the region has never been very involved in?

2) We'll be having our fourth Summersend Festival in August, and this Cabinet will be instrumental in planning and carrying it out. Do you have any ideas on how you will contribute to the festival as a member of the Cabinet?

1) To answer the first question, I think that I started with the polling thing with the ultimate goal of getting people conditioned to voting on the polls, and then to shift the polls slowly to topics more relevant to the current WA proposals and such.  This ultimately did not occur, but that's the general idea there.  Additionally, something similar to the WA Development Program of the North Pacific would really be good for fostering interest within the region in the WA. 

2) As for the Summersend Festival, I think that I could definitely host a game or two of Civ or HOI or basically any other RTS game that we're interested in.  Alternatively, I could try and do something like host a patriotic soviet music-off or some form of minesweeper...
