Greetings, new Underhusen! Now that the election is finally over, we need to go about the business of selecting a new Speaker. Over the next 48 hours, please post here if you are interested in standing for Speaker...afterwards we will have a 48 hour election to determine who it will be unless only one person stands.

I stand as well. I’ve been in many Underhusen terms, but I’ve never stood for speaker before.

I formally nominate @Dawsinian (to second his self-nomination) due to his past experience and recent stint as speaker pro tem and acting speaker.

Yes, I never stood for speaker, and would decline a nomination anyway. @Mathyland is the third candidate.
