Section I: Basic Information
1) Please take a moment to introduce yourself to us! What led you here, what your interests are, what you hope to get out of being a part of our community as a Citizen, and anything else you would like us to know.
Greetings! I've only just begun playing NS recently I discovered Wintreath with one of the telegrams. I stayed for a month to get the feeling of the area, and I've gotten to know a few of the locals a little. I'm interested in tabletop, computer gaming (Indie scene, RTSwP, big Paradox Studios fan), discovery and learning random tidbits.
I hope to dig into the little RP that's happening on the message board, while primarily enjoying the game of shaping my nation. I'm excited to hear what people have to say and to test out the waters in this online community. I am a bit of an introvert and I have a habit of being a fly on the wall when it comes to most group outings, but it'll fade once I get comfortable.

2) What timezone are you in?
PST -8, I'm on the Western coast of the US.

3) Would you like a mentor to help you learn your way around Wintreath?
I've discovered a lot so far, but I never mind advice. There's always a chance that there's more I haven't found yet haha. The citizenship and the politics would be interesting to see overtime.

4) How did you find out about Wintreath? If you received a telegram, please include the nation that sent it so they can receive credit!
I found out through telegram! Wintermoot's message brought me here.

5) What interested you in becoming a member of the community?
After getting comfortable, I'm looking to get more out of NS by engaging with the community. The stats, the descriptions, it's fun but the community can bring new aspects to it that bring it more to life. I'm excited to explore the RP community section, but I'll probably be engaging more passively in most case.

6) Do you have nations in any other regions? If so, where? Also, do you serve in any official roles in any of them? If so, what are they?
I don't, this is my first experience with NS.
7) Are you new to NationStates?
Yes, and my nation is cooking along nicely so far! I'm still relatively small in the region but I'm looking forward to finding my niche.

Tsk tsk. Misspelling your own nation. Where is your national pride!?

Jokes aside, welcome to the forums; I'd generally say Wintreath, but you've already found yourself a spot in both the RMB and Discord.
With the interests you've got, I think you'll fit right in. Lots of people around here like Paradox, for video games in general I can point you to our current Gaming Thane @Gattoartico, and if RP is your style, our Roleplay Thane @Laurentus, both of whom are very chill and welcoming guys, and I'm not just contractually obligated to say that about Laurentus because he's my boss as Jarl of Integration.
Swear.

If you'd like things to do around the forums themselves, I can point you towards the Amalyan Quarter, where fun things are happening reasonably often (such as that Escape Room you've already heard so much about), or the perenially popular Werewolf games. We're between games currently, but, well, I've already mentioned Laurentus, bug him about it, he's Thane of that too. I'm saying he wears a lot of hats is what I'm saying.

For RP purposes, there's the RP Guild, and since I've already noted that nations RP is up your alley, if I might promote a pet project slightly, do check out Cinciri's Discord Nation RP proposal, which also includes a handy link to check out said prototype server.

Oh man Freeciv, haven't played that in a very long time. Its multiplayer works rather well, compared to how buggy I've heard actual Civ multiplayer can be (though I've only ever played on heavily tested Longturn [23hr turn] servers).
