Still not completely sure if we need this/should implement this in the first place, but if we do, this does seem like a fairly good change (though in legal form it could use some rewording).

Tell you what...what if we put it on a trial period? One term, then it gets voted on in a Referendum on if it should be fully implemented or not. I'm sure that would be fine?

I think a trial run is more agreeable, so that we can see how it's handled before putting it into complete action.

My only question on that would be how we'd go about implementing something that's only meant to last temporarily for a single term.

Simple, we treat the next term elected after the passage of this as though this is enforced (including having the Arbiter or Sheriff or Sergeant At Arms or whatever position voted on as well in the general election. After that term, there would be a Referendum held where people vote on weather to fully adopt the COC permanently.
