That wasn't the plan... the most unpredictable should have been the last to have been found... sorry about that, blame those targeting the main diagonal, I guessed that turn that those doing so were trying to get everyone else to not target the diagonal lines closest to the top-left to bottom-right diagonal. Thought you deserved the truth about why I picked two spaces where the x coordinate and y coordinate were different by one, it was to get them. Oops. Don't even like being right for the wrong reason... feels wrong.

I mean the person choosing targets the most randomly, who isn't giving off any kind of pattern that I could look for which might indicate which space was chosen blue for them.

Yeeeeeaaaah, I'm pretty sure I was responsible for at least one strike right next to me. Analytical stuff would NOT have helped.

Question @Wintermoot! Is it possible to have the struck towers in a different colour (like, I dunno, pink maybe)? If not (or it risks exposing everyone's towers accidentally in which case don't do that), I'll just go back and colour a grid in myself.
