Section I: Basic Information
1) Please take a moment to introduce yourself to us! What led you here, what your interests are, what you hope to get out of being a part of our community as a Citizen, and anything else you would like us to know.
I came to Wintreath in order to join a region removed from the typical squabbling politics which are typical of most regions of NationStates. I'm particularly seeking to become active in a stable, player created region. I've been playing for about 3 years. 
2) What timezone are you in?
Eastern Standard Time.
3) Would you like a mentor to help you learn your way around Wintreath?
I would certainly appreciate assistance from any experienced member in regards to help understanding regional policies and legislative procedures.
4) How did you find out about Wintreath? If you received a telegram, please include the nation that sent it so they can receive credit!
I learned about Wintreath from Wintermoot.
5) What interested you in becoming a member of the community?
The opportunity to serve in regional government without having to worry about R/D requirements or GP disposition.

6) Do you have nations in any other regions? If so, where? Also, do you serve in any official roles in any of them? If so, what are they?
My WA nation is Pherttsylvania in Lazarus in which I currently do not serve an elected role.
I have sleeper nations in all GCRs.
7) Are you new to NationStates?
No.

Welcome to Wintreath! Your application is approved! We've already talked over Discord, but don't hesitate to contact me on here or there if you have questions or need any help. I may not be able to answer everything, but I can probably at least point you to someone that knows better...otherwise, I hope that you find us to be a community worthy of what you're looking for. I think you will.

Our legislature isn't nearly as active as Lazarus' in a time of drama, but you happen to come here just in time for Underhusen elections...campaigning starts on Monday, and actual voting begins a week later. There's also regular opportunities to take on roles like ambassador or article writer here, and occasionally we put out a call for new friends to join the Cabinet. There's definitely ways to get involved here if you want to serve in regional government...it just requires a bit of time and effort toward some good honest work rather than GP stuff.

This certainly seems to be a community in which I'd like to become involved. I admit Lazarus has become more active again as of late and not necessarily in a good way as we've discussed. I definitely wouldn't mind doing some writing once I've got my bearings or maybe in the long run becoming an ambassador depending on how things go. As far as regional government is concerned, I'd like to learn more and become more acquainted with folks before I'd presume to get too involved in the existing community. If I've learned anything from experience, it's that it is best to actually seek to become part of a region and community vice forcing yourself (or even worse being forced) into one.
