Robin for Delegate!

Buongiorno friends!  Welcome to the Robin campaign for the Delegacy of Wintreath!  You have my word as a citizen and person active in this region that I'll come to the Delegacy with an open mind and a willingness to ask the members of our really cool NationStates region what the heck we should do with our WA puppets in the World Assembly.  As you probably know, I've been in the Underhusen before, and have now been speaker of the Underhusen twice, and in my tenure we have done some pretty cool things, generally at the suggestion of various members of the citizenry. 

I'm also traditionally a very open Skrifa, and my historical willingness to take citizen concerns or ideas into account will follow me into the position of the Delegacy, should I be elected.  I love talking to people!  Even just extraneous comments or hellos are great!

Well I'm aware we're generally not super into the WA here in Wintreath, but I think it's definitely something we could do with expanding in order to get more interest in Wintreath.  It's a very public place, and I think that it could bring some good visibility to the region, even if it won't actually affect anything.  The WA is entirely fictional after all. 

And I'll have to go with Picard.  Mostly because Q.  And Q is TNG as well.  Don't get me wrong, though Kirk is hella suave too.

This is embarrassing.  Almost to the point of me withdrawing.  My only defence is that I was rushed assembling this campaign after realising that I did in fact have to campaign for the position. 

How will you help grow the region as Delegate? What do you believe can be done to make the NS side of things more attractive to the people we recruit to?

I was generally approaching the Delegacy and our WA policy from the standpoint of how will it help the region grow, and I concluded that our isolation is generally not as great for things like recruitment.  It's a very visible, if useless, podium, but I think we could make it interesting. 

In terms of making the NS side of things more attractive to the people we recruit to, I'm afraid all I can think of is more fun poll questions and such.  (The capabilities of NS are, er, limited, to say the least.  The forums here are far more malleable.) 

To be honest, I was hoping someone would remember polls on there.

So, now that there's a competition, I get to ask more questions. xD

Can you give us an idea of what your activity is like on the region page?

Well I generally try to get to NationStates every few days, and obviously that would increase quite significantly in the event I was to become WA Delegate. 

In terms of activity in the regional chat, I'm generally quite active during the special events (Nuclear Apocalypse, Zombie Apocalypse, etc.) and in general when my presence is requested.  I also operate Andromedian, Deltnon (WA puppet) and Trajan in Wintreath and maintain two other nations in New Hyperion.
