Bit late joining, I know, but I was a bit hesitant about it, not having done any RP before. Here goes:
Full Name: Elmorn Barruel Fletcher
Nicknames: Eli (only by those close to him)
Appearance: Tall, slender, with dark hair and some elfish features
Gender: Male
Age: 21
Race: Half elf
Affiliation: None yet.
Occupation: None. He travels around Tauria, fending for himself.
Physical Details: Well-built, with quick reflexes
Weapons: Bow (and arrows), two identical long knives of elfish origin
Apparel: Dressed simply in a black cloak.
Items: A slightly-glowing elf-stone hung around his neck, his only memory of his father. He keeps it hidden at all times. He also has a harmonica stowed in his pack.
Personality: Keeps everything close to his chest. People used to say he was caring and fun-loving, but all that is now overshadowed by a driving sense of purpose, mingled with the bitter pain of loss.
Skills: Being half-elfish, he has some natural skill with the bow, but his weapons of choice are his knives. His strength combined with his fast reactions render him deadly in close combat. He speaks the Common tongue and some Elvish, although he cannot read or write in the latter and he has hardly used it since his early childhood. Can also play a nifty little tune on the harmonica, although he rarely plays.
History: Born to a human mother and an elvish father, Elmorn was raised by his mother in her home village. He lived there happily until he was sixteen, when his village was raided by a mysterious band of black orcs (or whatever). In the middle of the night, thirty orcs descended on the village, torching houses and looting mercilessly. Elmorn, having been out of town for the night, returned home to find his childhood home burnt to the ground, and no sign of his mother. Torn by grief, he left the village, determined to avenge his mother’s death. He fell in with a band of rogue circus performers (why not?

), who taught him how to survive out in the wild. He has spent the past five years preparing for his revenge, developing his combat skills and listening out for any information that will lead him to whoever killed his mother. He is now ready to set out on his quest (he thinks), and set off for Tauria with the intention of finding his father, whom he has never met. Hearing of the peril which besets Cormalla, he answers the summons, believing that it is there that he shall find his father and hopefully gain intelligence on the identity of his mother’s murderer.
