Hey look, something for the Storting to do!

This is actually a long time coming...as we all know, the community of Ainur has collapsed due to the events that took place there back in July. Because the treaty doesn't allow for direct termination (we have to provide notice and then be open to resolving the situation for one week), this Act invokes the termination Article of the treaty, but allows me to revoke that invocation in the event that our regions resolve the issue. That's obviously more theoretical than practical, but even if Ainur's dead I'd still like to do this right.

Below is the proposed repeal, followed by code for easy copy/paste into other areas.

1) This Act shall be titled the Repeal of the Treaty of Friendship with Ainur Act

Empowerment to Repeal
2) Recognizing the collapse of the government and community with which Wintreath entered into "The Treaty of Friendship Between the Kingdom of Ainur and The Frozen Realm of Wintreath" with, Article 7 of that Treaty is hereby revoked.

3) The Monarch is empowered to revoke this invocation within one week of passage of this Act. Otherwise, the treaty shall be considered repealed one week after passage of this Act.

I approve of this since Ainur has died.

Whats the harm in keeping a treaty with a dead region? Might as well hold on to it. For all you know they might come back.

Their founder (or more accurately, the person holding the founding nation and admin permission on their forums at the time) launched a coup on the government, causing a mass exodus into Wintreath. Their King-in-Exile, Crushita, abdicated quite some time ago, and has stated his and his fellow Ainurians' lack of interest in recreating Ainur. The treaty was with the government of the Kingdom of Ainur, and that government simply doesn't exist anymore.

If the Ainurians do create a new region, though, I think a new treaty could be easily negotiated. And since it'd be with a different government, a new treaty would probably be needed anyway.

We entered into the treaty under certain circumstances...that the community on the other side would be active and friendly and that our regions connected with each other and wanted to develop closer relations. That's why so many people from Ainur ended up here. However, that is no longer the case...the community is no longer there, there's no indication that Ainur will be rebuilt, and the remaining "government" includes James Narya (94 block), who is openly hostile to Wintreath (and all defender regions).
