    Don't upload as a post, if you're logged in go to your Images page and upload from there.

    Also it's kinda amusing how Imgur has tried to turn itself from an image host to a social media site, and the "Imgurians" using it as a social media site don't realize its original purpose as an image host and mock the people who use it as such.

    Yeah, it was really an odd move to say the least, and even odder when the base audience switched with it so suddenly.

    I've generally stuck with Imgur because I don't have any issues if I stay on the images page (though navigating to it can sometimes be tough...), and since the alternatives are pretty much all worse (poor UI, even more weird redirects, or good but small and thus unlikely to last very long and poor for futureproofing).
