I don't think us queers are homogenous enough to have an agenda of any real sort. Outside of just sticking together and supporting one another.
On one hand you have groups like PFLAG and the HRC that fight for gay rights and equality under the law. Lofty and admirable goals in my eyes. But to some they're assimilationists seeking to destroy the very concept of the queer identity which is by its very nature dofferent.
On the other side of the spectrum you have radical faeries, and other groups like that whose goal is to celebrate the inherent otherness associated with being any kind of queer. To them the idea of settling down into a marriage and having kids is a betrayal of our own nature.
We're waaaaaaay too divided to have any sort of overarching agenda. Nothing for you fine hetero folks to worry about. Nothing at all.
