Sorry if it bothered you, it wasn't quite the start of the idea but page 4, (specifically this post).. It's confusing, because people have left, more have joined, or changed their minds, the time periods has been up in the air and it was nearly 3 months ago.

All I need is italy. If the actual Pope could be extremely powerful in Europe with the area just outside of Rome then I can rule the worrrrrrrld with all of Italy!

I claim all land westward of my mainland Chinese territories, up to the Himalayas (so basically give me Liu Song Dynasty [the one in grey] (except that parts Robin already claimed) + Greater Tibet [all the colored parts]).

To be fair, these "expansions" are basically just claiming shitty desert and tundra...

-I added thick black lines for land borders to make it more clear, but kept sea borders just the colour cause that makes sense to me...

I'm being very pedantic/nitpicky here, but technically, with your tech level, you'd be looking at infantry with flintlock muskets, since rifles had significantly higher reloading times (because the black powder would foul up the barrel) and were difficult to use. (Rifles were in existence, but mostly as sharpshooter and hunting weapons.)

Flintlock muskets then. Rifles will be reserved for the Hunters (Aesir snipers).

I take it you're not a big fan of military strategy. You'll definitely need a million men just to gain a beachhead in my land since it's pretty fortified. Howitzers raining explosive ordnance on your men from redoubt walls will show you how the term "cannon fodder" came to be.
