Werewolf X-1: The Murder of Mr. Winter Story
It was a cold, moonless and starless night outside of the Winter Manor; the temperatures reaching a low of 10 degrees Fahrenheit. A gust of wind blew the falling snow across at a quick pace, refusing to let it touch the ground without some effort. As if to help mark the occasion, lightning occasionally struck as well near the manor, giving it an even more ominous type of feel.
On the most normal of days, the manor enjoyed some of the most vibrant and beautiful weather outside of the occasional rainy days. But even those days were a blessing for they had given the hired gardeners a chance to relax without worry of their plants withering. While the manor was normally closed off by the large and intricately designed metal gate and surrounding fences, Mr. Winter often enjoyed the company of many visitors that he met with on business. He was a fierce, calculating man who enjoyed the wealth that he had, and lived life taking monumental risks to be met with even greater success.
...at least, until this particular night.
Several guests were making their way to the manor...but for what purpose?
Werewolf X-2: The Fall of Gotham Story
Times were troubling in Gotham city. Scarecrow’s threat of fear toxins had successfully scared everyone out of Gotham, and the city now belonged to the villains. The only ones left behind were the cops who were trapped and fighting for their lives, and the Batman who’d stayed behind to protect the city itself. Supervillans had united to put the Batman down once and for all, led by the Scarecrow and a mysterious figure calling themselves the Arkham Knight.
There are big plans for Gotham city, but those plans are foiled if the Batman manages to stop you. Can you pull out all of your bags of tricks at put the bat at rest for good? Or will your plans fail once again?
Welcome to Werewolf X, a special anniversary edition to kick off 2 years of Werewolf here on Wintreath. You’re probably wondering...why are there two stories going on here? Well, since it was missed last year, I thought the best way to make up for it would be to run not one...but TWO games at once (since multiple games tried at the festival proved to be successful). So Werewolf X will be split into two games: Werewolf X-1: The Murder of Mr. Winter (based on Clue, which a few of you guessed in the thread), and Werewolf X-2: The Fall of Gotham (based on the Batman: Arkham Knight video game).
Sound interesting? But wait, there's more! I'm sure you're wondering just what else will make these games interesting. Well, while the best share of it will be in The Murder of Mr. Winter, there's a possibility for some fun roles in The Fall of Gotham as well:
Roles in The Murder of Mr. Winter (still being tweaked/worked)
The Players
As the name suggests, these are the main players of the game, both good and bad. During each day phase alongside voting, players will pick a number (which will the range will be decided after signups). Depending on the number they choose will dictate whether they gain/lose/steal/give an Insight point. Insight points for the regular players will allow them to make a guess during the night as to a player, weapon, or location (which each player will be given a weapon/location in their PMs). Keep in mind that the number you pick will also dictate which of the three things you'll be able to guess in the night phase.
If the player guessed is a good guy/fellow player, then they will have the chance to team up with that person. If the player guessed is a murderer/accomplice, then they will have that knowledge to use (with caution) in the game. If the weapon guessed is correct, the player will automatically defend a target from attack that night. If the location guessed is correct, the player can choose to automatically disrupt all usage of power points during that night. Keep in mind that this means anyone who uses a power point that same night (be it good or bad guy) will lose that point. Any points stolen from the murderer or an accomplice will automatically become an Insight point.
At the start of the game, three random players will start with a point.
The Murderer/Accomplices
These are the main bad guys in the game, the ones responsible for the murder of Mr. Winter. Like the players, they'll pick a number during each day phase alongside voting. The number they pick will dictate whether they earn/lose/steal/give away a point. Unlike the players, however, the points they earn are their "kill points." Meaning to make a kill for the night, they'll need a point to do so. Any points stolen from a good guy will turn into a kill point. At the start of the game, both the Murder and the Accomplices will start with a point.
Potential Roles in The Fall of Gotham
The Guardian (The Arkham Knight)
For up to 3 nights, the guardian can choose to protect or scan someone on their own.
The Disruptor (The Scarecrow)
For up to 3 nights, the disruptor can choose to negate all powers.
The Gambler (Two-Face)
During each night, the gambler can bestow a random effect (earning/taking/giving/removing of a power) on themselves or another player.
The Player (Harley Quinn)
During each night, they player will be given scenarios with a reward or consequence depending on their choice.
The Seer (The Riddler)
During each night, the Seer will scan a player, adding them to the team if they're a "good" guy, or having the knowledge to use against them if they're a "bad" guy.
The Defenders (Deadshot and Deathstroke)
During each night, the defenders will protect someone from attack...though they can't protect the same person twice in a row.
Head Assassin (Batman)
During each night, they'll discuss with their teammates and choose a target of their own to subdue.
Assassins (James Gordon, Nightwing, Robin, etc...)
During each night, they'll discuss as a group who to subdue
Villagers (? ? ? ?)
During each day, they'll vote as a group who is most suspicious. During each night, they hide.

Spoiler
Hello to all of our friends and allies in our neighboring regions, Pengu here. It’s hard to believe that it’s already been two years since Werewolf was brought to Wintreath. In that time we’ve had some pretty great games both hosted by myself as well as other members here on Wintreath. To celebrate the occasion, Werewolf X will be split into 2 games: A special Werewolf version of Clue that I’ve been planning for a couple of months now, and a game of Werewolf based on the Batman: Arkham Knightvideo game with a twist – You’ll play the villains attempting to get rid of the Batman once and for all. I hope to see many of you sign up for one or both games so we can celebrate this special occasion together.
