Also, I already laid claim to Werewolf X Elderpion.  Because it's our 10th game, I wanted to try for something a bit special.

Actually, you asked on September 3rd in the Future Werewolf planning thread.    Had you looked in the Werewolf Theme and Role ideas thread...

However, I will be laying claim to 10, and will be hopefully running it in October to coincide with the two year anniversary of the first game, which began in October (technically signups started on the 29th, but the game itself started in October).

Ah .  Normally I'd budge and just take the next game, but I already missed the 1 year anniversary (since there wasn't even a game playing during that time), so I want to at least celebrate the 2 year.  But you'll have priority for XI, since I'd love to see a Potato Inquisition game, and one hosted by the Pope themselves. 

Giving how we mostly agree on the topic of what to so, just let the game end in a draw, that'll be the decision, and I need some time to think of how I'm going to implement this into the story. So, the ending will be posted tomorrow.

After that reveal, this game was done. But I accept responsibility for asking him about his role in the first place.

Hey guys, wasn't involved with this game, but I kept up to date reading it; for the whole mess with the role reveal thing it might be an idea to state in the introduction or signup thread about what breaking the rules would entail? And what one should do if someone breaks the rules... now I realize I am bias... cause I love rules... but it might avoid this sort of incident in future either way it's entirely at the hosts discretion.

Oh jeez. I was under the impression that it was not against the rules to claim to be a role, but it was illegal to post proof about being a role?

Rules

1. Of course, no sharing PMs with others.
2. If you don’t vote at all twice in a row, you will be killed.
3. There is no such thing as a vote to not lynch in this version, but there is an option to abstain. If everyone abstains, then one of the remaining people alive will be randomly killed.
4. Do not hint at/reveal your role at all.
5. Don’t throw the game. In other words, no sharing to others who all the other wolves/special roles are.
6. You are allowed to talk when dead, just don’t reveal/game throw, and don’t talk too much.
7. First day phase will last 72 hours and every day phase from there will last 48 hours.
8. Night phases last 24 hours.
9. While this is not exactly a rule, it is suggested that you don’t edit your posts.
10. Day Phase is first, if any of you are wondering.
11. Anyone who does not submit an official vote for two day phases straight will be killed of inactivity.

Let this be a lesson to always read the rules to a game you're playing.

Ok, tonight was a bit more hectic than planned so tomorrow night is the ending

The pirates had witnessed one of their own die not too long ago, but then had their first victim, who somehow didn't die, join them. Although, when Mikhael Sakharov returned to his cabin to find the snoop, Ian McKinley, searching through it, he knew he needed to get out of here, along with the other pirates.

Ian McKinley was investigating the cabin, and he was intrigued when he found a pistol. He didn't recall cabinmates being allowed to have guns. This man must be a pirate! he thought to himself as he grabbed the gun to go rid this ship of another murder.

While Ian had been seaching the room, Mikhael had rounded up the remaining pirates and gotten them onto the emergency boat, and was preparing to set off back to the mainland. Mikhael, Pavel, and Isak rowed as fast as they can. Upon getting far enough away from the ship, he spotted a figure on the ship, Ian. The snoop had made  an attempt to shoot one of the pirates, but failed, missing by a long shot.

Ian watched at the pirates making their way out of his view, feeling both relieved and upset. While he wasn't able to kill the pirates, they are at least off the ship, and that's all he cared about. He just hoped that they didn't come back.

And so, the SS Wintreath sailed on, to make many more adventures during it's trip across the world.
The game has ended in a draw, due to some difficulties of breaking the rules and throwing the game off.

Well, it was an honor hosting Werewolf IX, officially the shortest Werewolf game of all of Wintreath, with a whopping two night phases and 2 1/2 day phases! I was hoping it'd last a bit longer before it ended though. Anyways, it was fun while it lasted,

Ha! I was right again! Both tau and Eldarion were pirates. I'm fucking amazing. I found all three pirates in just 2 days.
