Unfortunately, the current ambassador to The West Pacific has been away for some time now, so I've decided to open the assignment back up to applications.

What does an Ambassador do?
Ambassadors are the links between our region and other regional communities. They check up on our embassies and consulates in their assigned regions once in awhile, post releases to their embassies, and return any information that concerns Wintrean interests or is relevant in any other way. Being an ambassador is not a major time commitment, but you will need to be willing and able to register on your assigned region's forum and check up on our embassies there a few times a week.

If you're interested in being assigned this region, please post here with one idea to make our embassies in other regions special and set them apart from other embassies that they have. Preference will be given to new ambassadors and ambassadors with fewer assignments, but those with great ideas will not be forgotten either. Just look at how far Emoticonius's puzzle idea has gone...your idea could go far, too.

I have been stalking for an ambassadorship for some time now, waiting for something that'd appear suitable for me. I don't know if such a big region is that, but I'm throwing my name out there anyway. I trust in your judgement. I don't really know what kind of hardships/drama can be involved with some regions.

My idea is a little cheap, steals some from Emoticonius' idea, but I had to come up with something. Perhaps we could regularly post pieces of a mystery story, slowly advancing the plot? ._. Not really sure where that story would come from, but should we find writers for it internally, perhaps this could be milked further (publish the latest piece in Wintreath and broadcast the previous piece via our embassies).

Thanks. That was easy.

Implimentation is the easy part, write it and post it abroad. The difficult part is actually writing it. What would it be about? Who are the characters? Plot twists, character development, etc.

On top of that, I was wondering how we could go about making it interactive. Just posting a story might come off as too random.

One could give other regions a variety of choices that will each take the story in different directions. That would of course mean a lot of writing but nothing worth having is gained easily.
