Yep, Arena and Daggerfall are DOS games.

Well, technically they are still cat people, just a different breed: the earlier games featured Ohmes (which look more like wood elves), while the later featured Cathay (which looked more like big cats). But yeah, you're right.

Well it's funny, because when Arena describes them to you at the beginning, it even says that you're a feline.  But then the character model is pretty human.

They might have changed them a bit in Daggerfall...but yeah, Arena they were pretty human looking.  Not even elven.

See, this is why I like Bethesda.  They try to make us suspend our disbelief, but when it doesn't work, they're like "FINE, we'll make them how we said we would!" And boom, cat people.

So I'm trying to find an MMO to get into, that's preferably free to play.

So far, I have:

*Dungeons and Dragons Online
*Atlantica Online
*Everquest
*Fiesta

A.O is one that I play occasionally and I know very well, and I also know D&D a bit from playing it back in the day...same with Fiesta.  Everquest is one that I've heard of so much that I know it more by the name Evercrack.

Are there any other MMO recommendations out there?

I highly recommend Allods Online. If it wasn't so laggy on my PC these days I'd have spent the last year or so continuing to play. I freakin' love this game! I keep an eye on it for whenever they change company's so I can keep my account (and therefore my characters) alive, in the hopes that I'll get a better PC and be able to come back to it. I really wanna get back to kickin' ass with my Orc Marauder. Plus it's finally possible to play Goblin ball!

I've actually played Allods, and I did like it.  I'll consider re-downloading it once more.
