As usual, you are allowed to nominate any games that you feel your other fellow Wintreans should try out, as long as they are accessible to most of us. Such games include classic games (eg. GBA , PS1, N64, Dreamcast), flash/java/web games (kongregate.com), free MMO games (onRPG), mobile games and PC games that are easily obtainable. Also, please keep it legal if any of the nominated games have a price tag (aka no illegal downloading).

Nominations will last for three days from this post and the voting will begin immediately after that.

I nominate Minecraft. While it's not free or even particularly cheap, I don't know anyone who wouldn't have gotten their money's worth of playtime out of it. Promoting it would be all around beneficial since we already have a server and good number of playing members. Minecraft itself is a suitable platform for holding various fun competitions.

With so many free alternatives available (such as Trove and Creativerse), all we really need to do is sell the overall concept. If interest sparks, details can be worked out.

I'm going to nominate Holy Potatoes! A Weapon Shop?!. It's a fun, but strange game that looks at a different perspective of RPGs, where instead of adventuring, it goes through the perspective of the people making the weapons. I got this game a few months ago, played it a bit, then I didn't play the game for the month or two, because other things were going on at the time. I got back to the game a day or two ago and remembered what I liked most about the game, their puns, the game references, and the spoofs of famous video game characters. It only costs 15 USD. It's a nice, relaxing, and fun game to check out on steam if you want.
