Title
1. This act shall be entitled the Underhusen Seats for the Fifteenth Storting Act.

Seating
2. The number of Skrifa for the fifteenth session of the Underhusen shall be seven (7).

I know this is early, but given the rate of votes, we're likely to stick around for another term or two before we can work something out. I endorse seven seats for the next session of the legislature becasue as we can prove from this/last time, we need more voices in the Underhusen to actually provide better debate. We need actual dissenting opinions.

Given that the citizenry have only narrow support of the bill, we are clearly not representing their interests enough, so we need to offer a chance to change that by allowing more citizens to come in with us.

It's a pity that we can't just make the Underhusen large enough for everyone. I'm with the idea for seven seats though. It'll perhaps allow us to get more stuff done. That being said, I personally might want to take a break from the legislature, and reconnect with my constituents, because at the moment it seems that we've wasted a bunch of our time.

I'm being melodramatic of course, but it is discouraging to have people convinced that we aren't going to listen because we support getting an Open Assembly put into place. If we want a compromise, we could turn just the Underhusen into an Open Assembly, and maintain a bicameral legislature of sorts while people get settled in (sort of like Parliament before it got full power ), that might be a good compromise!

Yeah, I know.  I was suggesting that as an alternative to the whole problem with the OA, we could quite easily propose an ammendment to the FLs to strike the 4-7 seat requirement.

I don't think 7 seats will solve the underlying problem, since so few people even bothered to comment on the bill, but sure, let's go with that. I echo Barnes' statement about feeling betrayed, though, and I'm not going to stand in the next session, echoing Robin.

Let's see how other people like having to do all the work while no one bothers to comment or even inform you that there's a problem.

It's been about fifty hours since the bill's been released, and everyone here has shown support. Does that mean there will be a call for the bill's further action?
