-Yes, in Albion but that region dindt click with me.

There are many things that you can get involved with here in Wintreath, both to help the region and just for fun! Based on your answers to the questions below, we will help you get involved in any aspect of the region that you're interested in so you can hit the ground running fast. Indicating interest here does not commit you to joining any aspect of the region, but will help us guide you to where you want to be here.

-Of course.

2) Are you interested in forum roleplays (character, national, etc)?
-Of course.

3) Are you interested in playing in our Minecraft server?
-Nahh, slow internet.

4) Are you interested in general region-wide games, such as Civilization V? If so, what games would you like to see?
-Yes, but still slow internet.

5) Are you interested in regional politics (elections, running for legislature, writing bills, etc.)?
-Yes.

6) Are you interested in general community discussions?
-Yes if i have the time.

7) Are you interested in serving as a diplomat or an ambassador to another region?
-Probably.

Are you interested in regional journalism (writing articles for inclusion in regional publications)?
-50/50 not really sure kinda in the middle between yes and no.

9) Are you interested in creating graphics for the regional website?
-Nope, not good in editing stuff.

10) If you have any other interests you'd like to pursue in the region, please tell us about them! We can make just about anything happen as long as people are interested in doing it.

Welcome to Wintreath! Your application is approved, and I hope you enjoy being here with us.

To answer your questions, we're one of the most active regions in NationStates...I will admit that Albion is still more active, but we're up there. As for being special, you've already read what I think through our recruitment and welcome telegrams, so I'll let others give you their perspectives. Though I will say I think our openness and personable-ness sets us apart.

I'm glad to see you decided to join us! Let's hope our snowy community clicks with you!

I recommend our Community Chat, that resides in irc, meaning that you can either use the provided webchat (can be found from the main menu up top: Community -> Community Chat) or by using any other irc client by connecting to the Espernet and joining #wintreath.

Activity of the channel varies since our community is so well spread on the planet, good rules of thumb are to:
1) Greet people
2) Stick around
3) If it's quiet, start a discussion

It is one of the fastest and easiest way to get to know some of our citizens, some days we are just goofing around a lot, and other days we see plenty of deep discussions from politics to games to sexuality.

Another great fast lane to dive into the community is the Dumping Grounds. There are plenty of fun topics that don't take much of your time but works as a way to get a little bit more familiar with everyone.

I'm personally not much (at all, I suppose) involved with the RPs, so I'll leave those to someone else to get to the details.

If you're looking for the political side of things, The Citizen's Platform is the go-to place to take part in such stuff. Bulk of the discussion about the shift to Open Assembly I mentioned can be found in the Constitutional Convention, although I believe we're at this point mostly sanding down the last rough edges and getting pretty close to officially moving things forward.

All this may feel a little off the mark of "what makes us special", but because the answer is the community itself and the experiences interacting with it, the only true way is to experience it yourself.

I noticed you said you didn't click with Albion.  I'm actually on there as well occasionally.  What was it that didn't click with you?
