As I mentioned last month, I have begun collecting stats on the forum and region on a monthly basis...on the 20th of each month. Here are results for December vs November along with my interpretation of each stat:
Ttl members - Total forum members...during this period, we went from 98 members to 164, a gain of 66 members.
Total posts - Total forum posts...we went from 1,669 to 3,023, a gain of 1,354 posts.
P/M - Post per member...we had a gain here of 1.4, which to me means that our existing members are posting more and/or that our new members are getting involved in the forums more.
Spam / Spam % - Spam posts and the percentage of total forum posts they make up. This is probably the most striking change...only 72 spam posts were created in the
entire month, causing the percentage of spam posts on the forums to plummet by a third. Some would say this is good, some would say this is bad...I personally have no opinion.
Top Ten Posts / Posts / Percentage / T10% - The top ten posters, number of posts they've made, percentage of posts they make up on the forums, and percentage of posts the top 10 have on the forum. In my opinion, these stats improved very slightly, but still needs improvement. With I alone making up 25% of posts, that means the forum community is very reliant on me...much more than it should be. I hope this will continue to improve as we grow and more people are here on the forums. Of particular note is that Weissreich, Chanku, and Reon made it into the top ten when they weren't even on it last month. I hope this means we're expanding our community base.
Nations - Number of nations in the region...obviously now that we have nations ceasing to exist, we're not seeing the large growth we saw in our first month. I expect we'll see a slow, steady crawl toward 400 in the next month as we slowly gain nations that stick with NS. We also suffered this month from having 10 spammer nations either banjected from the region or deleted by the game moderators. Still, growth is growth, and I'm happy with where we're at.
Delegate - Obviously, the region's delegate...we had a changeover from myself to Reon.
Endos / % Total Nations / % WA - The number of endos the delegate has, what percentage of total nations int he region that makes up for, and what percentage of World Assembly nations that makes up for. We can see that Reon has slightly improved on my standing last month, though I'm still gunning for eventually 90% of WA nations.
Influence - Influence of the delegate...not horribly important, but I thought it'd be fun to have.
Not sure if anyone will care for anything like this, but I have an interest in stats...so I just thought I'd share.
