Greetings, new Underhusen! Before we can get any business underway, you need to select a Speaker for the session. This is done in two parts...for the next 48 hours, anyone interested can stand for election to Speaker, and should there be more than one candidate there will then be a 48 hour election to determine the winner.

So if you would like to stand for Speaker, please post here.

Side note: who determined the time lengths on all this voting? No wonder not much gets done. It'll already be the 12th before we have a Speaker elected.
