"You are most cordially invited to the Madman's Mansion!
A place of distortion, magic, and temptation open now only for a traditional celebration of the defiance of death!
Drink! Be merry! Be Mary! Do Mary! All expanses and vastness of the mind are bound only by a word in the Madman's Mansion!
Transportation provided."
At the reading of the last line every person reading it was greeted by a horrendous crash of hooves as a band of pure white horses pulling a perfect black carriage appeared. A grim driver, with a grin like a Cheshire cat, beckons them aboard the carriage.

Step aboard and come. To the Madman's Mansion!

Serious Mess

In complete and total English without all the mess and fanciness of the previous reading/typing adventure and malarkey, Madman's Mansion is a completely and totally not serious RP designed to bring you people together in a very fictional mansion in which everything is possible/probable. The house will shift, burn, and move! Things will appear out of nowhere! Chaos and joy will reign as the guests create anything they can imagine with no side effects!
 Are you ready to play, my pets? Simply step into the carriage and you will instantly be there at the party! Ready to gallivant and mock about!

"Madman's Mansion? It would seem Reon has confused Christmas with Halloween. Still, I suppose I don't have anything better to do, and it would be in bad taste for a leader not to accept such an invitation. I shall return in time!", Wintermoot tells one of his aides as he makes a decision and steps into the carriage.

"Why would i get an invite to my own house?" for Nox lives in a house halled the Madwoman's Mansion. "oh well, I guess I'll go". "ready my limo"

Hm? -as I read over the invitation I smile- I guess I'll go. Maybe I'll make some friends... -steps aboard the carriage-

 

I wonder who Mary is. I may as well find out. *steps into carriage*

Instead of stepping into the carriage, Alterra plops the bear he just hunted in there and chooses to ride one of the horses instead, leaving a flurry of snow behind him.

"Hmm," Miss Pierangelli muses to herself, folding the invite back into its envelope. "Why not, this could be interesting."

She steps into the carriage, watching the snowy landscapes unfold as the carriage hurries away.

As the guests arrive a thin tall gentleman leaps from out of the shadows! "Ah, my lovely playthings guests!" at the finishing of his sentence many of the guests noted that you could genuinely see the strikethrough in the air...
"How good of all of you to come. Allow me to introduce myself! I am the Madman... A being of near limited power! And welcome to my most manipulating home. I trust that you shall continually find all but the other people enjoyable. I invite you to experiment with my home and to explore any part of it that you like. Here, I believe that you will find that all rules are made to be broken and laws, to be bent...
Have a glorious time!"
With a light swoosh the madman completely ceased to be in that spot. As the guests recovered they began to observe how much house there truly was noting at least seven staircases in this room alone, one of which appeared to be going completely sideways.

"Well, isn't this simply brilliant," said one simply known as the Persian, Persia to acquaintances, and Azure to friends due to the intricate blue markings on the body, as Madman finished talking and dissipated into the ether.

 Instead of going the traditional route via carriage, car, horse, and/or hummingbird, Azure chose to walk, wearing just a pair of black jeans, across the frozen expanses of Wintreath to Madman's Mansion. Oh, and what fun it was!

Alterra left the group and headed for the sixth stair from the left, climbing down into the basement. Hopefully he could reach the cellar and find a good drink.

The tiny Prussian takes one look around as the madman disappears and figures she might as well join Alterra for that drink.

Hm....I wonder if that means I could do....something -grins slightly evilly-

Wintermoot finds this somewhat...odd, but he would expect nothing less from Reon, who he figures is actually playing the part of the Madman. Only his trust in this being organized by Reon keeps him from leaving, and instead he finds a comfortable-looking couch placed off the the side in the main room and looks toward everyone else that's coming in.

Miss Pierangelli takes a tentative stride across the main room, stopping in front of each staircase to study it intently. There's only darkness at the end of all of them, whether they go up, down or sideways, but somehow she does not feel daunted by the prospect of exploring them.

Having made her mind, she chooses the middle staircase and strides up, hiking her long dress as she goes.
