Out of all the recruitment telegraphs, you guys were the only ones who responded to my "clarification" telegram.

1) Are there any particular areas of our region you would like to become involved in?

Personally I'd go for Diplomacy, but the current Government I plan on playing as is going to be very oppressive, so military would be their thing.

Section II: Introductions and Questions

Hello. I am known here as Varselius right now, but you can call me Baran (the username I have for the forum that led me here) for OOC purposes.

On the country I will be running.

Varselius has recently escaped a civil war, and most of it's people are dead. Currently, the People of Varselius government is extremely oppressive but has a robust economy. Hopefully, if everything goes to plan, the People of Varselius will fall into a second revolution or get conquered. Currently, the only purpose of The Oppressed People of Varselius is to familaritize myself with NationStates before I start an actual country.

On myself as a person.

I was brought to NationStates to help me learn how to be a better ruler. I help run a separate "nation" on a different Forum from NationStates, and a friend, seeing my interest in government, brought me to this forum. Here, I hope to learn how to write in complicated legal forms, and how to improve as a diplomat overall.
