I've not been a fan of music for too long, relatively. Many people have loved it for as long as they've understood it, and some have even known they wanted to make a career of it for as long. It took me longer. I didn't really find myself enjoying music properly until I was about 11, and I first really grew interested in the last 2 years. I've wanted to be a Radio DJ for only around a year and a half, but I know that I could never be truly content doing anything else. I love music more than any of the other poncy-ass hippy hobby things arts.

Anyway, I'm sure I can't be the only one who absolutely loves music of all genres. So this is a thread for music. Whether it's something you've had in your head for a while, something that you've loved since childhood or just something catchy you heard on the radio, post it here. No need for a paragraph to go with it, I just wanted to do justice to a topic about something so close to my heart. You don't have write any words if you don't want to. But I'd love it if we all shared our tastes with one another, and broadened our musical horizons.

I still remember when you were telling me you were going to either do music and politics, and I was like no don't be a dirty politician! Music fits you better!

I would say I first got into listening to music when I was 13 and started paying attention to what was on the radio...I'd always been mostly into pop, though I could listen to anything. In the last few  years, my interests have turned to more instrumental music...game soundtracks, relaxation sounds, and even white noise (I know, the last two aren't really music). I find it easy to relax to, and I don't get distracted with vocals when I'm working on something else.

Anyway, I've always thought hip-hop is a beautiful form of expression if used correctly. However, it's usually squandered and it sucks nowadays. However, these are some great (and sad) songs I've managed to stumble across that are actually good and rap.
