I am just going to state this:
If you wish for you to not be mentioned then I will edit it out, however I am left without internet access except for my phone....and I would rather not edit my campaign while on it.

On the gov thing I have answered it in the past, however gov never has accepted the answers givenl, which has lead me to not anwering the question anymore

But it isn't just Gov that wants to know your answer.  The last time you answered was quite some time ago.  I for one would like to hear a decent answer (it being a loaded question to be skipped doesn't count) that is truthful to how you feel at this present point in time.

So for the rest of us besides Gov, please answer the question.  Inquiring minds want to know.

Alright then, I shall answer it once more and hopefully settle this once and for all. I have  a response and I shall post it as soon as I can, however due to it's length it will be a bit before u can post it, as a long post on a phone is not really the best, especially in my case. As such it may be a day or two before I can post it.

Also tatte I shall remove your name as soon as I can, however editing that post on a phone would not be an easy task so it may be a day or two before I can edit it out, I am sorry for the inconvenience.

Thank you, and I apologize if that sounded like I was pushing at you, but when at least 3 people are curious, it's not really a question you should skip. 

Aside from the fact that the question itself is still somewhat of a loaded question (and I will state right here, right now, that my answer of this question does not assume any guilt of any action implied by the original question), I will try my best to respect most people in the region. While I recognize that I can be hard to work with at times, I do try to be a bit calmer towards new people than I am towards the veterans. I think of myself as something like Linus Torvalds when it comes to this. I can be aggressive and...difficult towards people, but keep in mind that I'm only human.
 
However I am of the belief that respect is earned in part, and I will grant respect towards people at first, however if they repeatedly attack people, fail to respect promises, and consistently act in a hypocritical manner along with demanding my respect, then I reserve the right to revoke my respect from them. This session, if I am elected, I will also try to take a step back and not be as involved in the Underhusen as I have been in the past.
 
I believe this answers the question and I will state that I will try not to respond to any provocations by Govindia as much as I can, and I will try to avoid provoking him, and will not provoke him purposefully. However I am human, and I have my faults like anyone else. I hope that you all can look past them this election, however I would understand if you can not. With this I feel as if I have adequately answered the question.

I think as long as you can be civil towards those that you may not respect, and keep their opinions and input at an equal level as others' regardless of personal feelings, that's really all that matters.  It's not your duty as a Skrifa or any other government official to be obligated to respect every single person.  But as long as you can work past grudges/disagreements that and keep a professional attitude and keep away personal biases, then you can still do a good job.

Respect is quite a big thing to give someone, and may not be possible for certain people.  But civility/being cordial is an absolute requirement since everyone's opinions should matter, being as you would represent all of them.

As I said, I appreciate your response.  Gov, if you do choose to respond to this, I ask that you please keep it peaceful and to the point, as Chanku has said his piece on the matter.  And again, I ask everyone else to please keep it peaceful and leave any thoughts of stirring a confrontation at the door.  I'd really like to see us get through an electoral process without another grudge match.

My only concern is that you did promise much of the same the last time you were elected, and ended up belittling Wintermoot and some other people. Why is it that you find it so hard to cease this type of behaviour? You can only promise to change so many times, and end up failing, before people start to doubt that you're capable of changing.

I think this whole civility thing has been beaten into the ground...at this point people will either believe you that you will be civil to those you don't agree with, or they won't believe you, so I won't speak to that.

What I will speak to is an observation...you haven't exactly been the most active in the offices you already have, and when I've asked you about it in the past you've said you were busy, or were sick, or didn't have access to a computer or something else, but it's been months. Why should people vote you to another office if you aren't doing doing much with the one you have?

Ultimately I think it's a perfect storm of little to no communication, school, and issues sleeping that is causing this.

Is part of your duty as Jarl of Defence not to actively seek things for the military to engage in?

I feel like I can manage the jobs effecitvely. It shouldn't affect any of my UH decisions, unless a treaty were to be negotiated which will not be occurring for fairly obvious reasons.

I know the history of the Underhusen, so drags like this are not that uncommon. Ultimately this is apart of something that will occur at times, so I believe that it is healthy, or at least healthy enough.

True, however usually things aren't organized until a hour or so before update, which I may or may not be on during that time (depends on various factors)

I avoid the military channel for the main reason that being in there would essentially require me to remove Gov from mute...and as you saw through that IRC thing....that is not a very good idea for everyone involved....

Is the military channel WHR only?

But that's not his job.  As Jarl of Defense, it's your job to stay completely on top of everything in your department.  The fact that you're making up irrelevant excuses as to why you can't do such makes me wonder just how much that actually translates into your other roles such as your time in UH...which I feel like it has in some forms.
