H U Z Z A H !

So I am Saint Cearan, the erstwhile-owner of the account known as Saint Cearan (technically Saint Cearán as the roleplays fly), but I generally go by my IRC handle Azura—tis what everyone knows me by. I'm new here obviously, but not new to NationStates; I first arrived in 2006, and have been unable to extricate myself from this lovable site ever since. This is my first time really getting invested into a region, thanks to years spent roleplaying and being one of those nerdy teller-of-stories types.

So, yeah. I'm boring. That's my introduction.

There's no one genre that I particularly favor over others these days; I used to have a fascination with writing horror and suspense, but have sense broadened out into drama, romance, science fiction, even some comedy here or there. In NationStates, the thing I was best known for was characterization; all of my stories were heavily based on characters with internal conflict, whether they were the leader of my nation or a HAM Radio operator who had lost his wife.

Honestly, it was kind of a random thing. When I created the Saint Cearan account (as I typically do whenever I create a new account) I just immediately clear out the TG box of all recruitment TGs. But for some reason, I found the recruitment TG for this reason, read it, and came here to explore. It's something I've never really looked into before while at NationStates, and felt I owed it to myself to give it a try.

Depends on the nation. I've roleplayed almost every type of nation over the years, from a despotic military junta, a Socialist paradise, a liberal democracy, a mythological kingdom, sci-fi races from the far future, and a land where THERE BE DRAGONS. If there's a national archetype, I've probably written it.

What's your favourite country IRL?  (Besides your home country, just to make things interesting.)

Japan, definitely. I've always wanted to travel to Japan; there's just something about the culture, the mystique that's always fascinated me. England, Australia, and Mexico are right behind.
