As of us having more and more roleplaying threads, I decided to put together a timeline of the current roleplay. I will update this when more come or I get corrected by someone. So, here goes:

Is From the Ashes considered as cononically related to WintEx and Union?

Ah, I was actually planning on making a post like this. I still might, to tie everything in with Weissreich's Establishment of Setting.

I find it more interesting if we tie everything into a single continuity. Of course, you could say that From the Ashes is set 50,000 years after WintEx or something. The only problem that I see is that Explorations might name a different location for the Wintreath planet, but that could easily be retconned/explained away.

I like the idea in theory, but it's strange to have Union and WintEx be a part of FtA, since many of the countries present in Union and WintEx are fully fledged empires in FtA, with very different canons in each respective RP.

We could explain this away as entirely separate empires using the names of historic nations to give themselves a sort of legitimacy/prestige. IIRC (and I could be wrong), there were Chinese dynasties in the past that would use the name of older dynasties for the same purpose, so it wouldn't be an unrealistic move.

It also has precedent in fiction; in Legend of Zelda, Link is an entirely different person in every game. I don't know what the reasoning behind that is, but it still counts.

Also, the technological difference between WintEx and FtA is great enough that the time in between can be chosen pretty much arbitrarily. 50,000 years seems fine. Union and WintEx, on the other hand, aren't all that far apart, so that would be something to be worked out.

That would require major changes to my continuity, but if this is the way most RPers want it, I'll do it.

Luckily I haven't yet stated who the emperor is in WintEx and Union. But the name Laurentus, and the convention that goes with it, is something I'll have to forego in WintEx and Union now, since it would just be too cheesy.

That's what I originally thought too, but I like this idea because it's more suited for the incorporation of Weiss's timeline and other old roleplay canon. I'm completely fine with either, however; I don't want people being forced to twist and distort their lore to uncomfortable degrees to fit the timeline.

I have two alternate ideas. One way to go about it is to pretend that any similarities are mere coincidences. Another would be for the different RPs to follow the same overarching history, but still remain somewhat alternate realities.

How I saw it, these 3 can relate to eachother, from when the planet of Wintreath is in the Post Modern era. Then, maybe a few hundred or maybe even a 1000 years later, the Winreath Expeditions take place. Then, with the discovery of the Wintrean Galaxy(I believe it is called that) expansion takes place making the gigantic Wintrean Empire. Lastly, this empire would collapse, probably 10000 years later, causing the events of FtA.

That would require major changes to my continuity, but if this is the way most RPers want it, I'll do it.

I believe that I mentioned a link between the Witchian Nation and New Witchmond in the history section trying to already make a link between these worlds.

History

Witchmond was a nation on the Wintreath's main planet. As the fall of the Wintrean galaxy, Witchians set out to claim their own lands. They created the capital city of Gypite[Guy-Pie-De] on the planet of Toobek.

Government

The New Witchian government is like the original government of Witchmond. They have some civil rights and political freedom, and a strong economy. The only difference is that for the many years, New Witchmond will have a heir family that will be ruling the Empire until have they can trust every race living in New Witchmond and once trusted, they will become a republic.

Military

New Witchmond focuses a lot of their budget on defense, making sure that no space pirates or other empires take over. They also have access to both nuclear and anti-matter bombs. Their military spans from:

They have also invented plasma shields, the shields can block a hit from a majorly powerful weapon. Weaker weapons barely damage the shield while after 10-20 strikes from a stronger weapons will destroy it.

Their infantries have power suits, which can withstand explosions, and many types of bullets. They also have laser based guns.

They have walkers, a siege unit, which has a laser turret on top and two railguns in the front.

Lastly, they are under the works of a plasma beam.

Another of which I stated in the introduction post to this, since Maelstrom Academy uses magic, but magic is never established in the other rps.
