A Message from his most Supreme Jarl of Culturus Ministriship
Good tidings to everyone in this most wonderful month of December! This is an example of what the layout of the Lusty Jarl would be like, though of course packed more with submissions by others as well. As you no doubt noticed, the layout is essentially the same as the Orendi, but with smaller articles and a little bit of humor mixed in as well. This is what I'd structure it as so that it'd be a fun and interesting read for those who see it. I hope you've enjoyed this preview into what the magazine will be like in its bare form, and likewise I hope the full result will intrigue and amaze if the Lusty Jarl becomes a reality.
Choose Your Own Adventure will begin the new year in Wintreath
At first there was Werewolf, and then Spyfall. Now, coming to you in the new year of 2016 will be the first ever Choose Your Own Adventure: Wintreath Chronicles. A game where you, the players, will choose how the story goes and how it ends. All of you may make it to the end, or maybe some, or even none of you as you get lost in the game's many twists and turns and unusual scenarios for you to face along the way.
But what will the scenario be? Traditional fantasy? Horror? Sci fi? Comedy? Find out more details next week!

Challenge of the Week
Your challenge this week is to write a haiku about the winter. This can be about Christmas, Snowmen, how you hate driving in the snow, whatever your imagination entails. Haikus are in the style of 5-7-5 for syllables, for example:
Peeing in the snow,
Spelling out my name like this,
In cursive even.
So in other words, if you sound out the words and they have more than one count, that's more than one syllable. You may submit your haikus in this thread.
