I just realized that I never got around to posting here. So here it is. Ask me anything!

I don't think I ever asked. What career do you wish to pursue?

I'm really not sure. Probably something within the physical sciences or engineering fields, possibly something computer-related. As you might see, that's rather broad.

I'm still a high school sophomore, but the pressure is already mounting to pick something and run along with it. Especially with the highly academic-focused culture of my school's community.

I know the struggle. The school I went to had very high standards, and since I played chess for them to get a significant discount on my school fees (something my sister did too) they had especially high expectations from me. University life is actually easier, for that reason.

You start high school at the age of sixteen in America, if I'm not mistaken?

Most people, including me, start high school at fourteen.

The school I go to is actually a rather large public high school, but the demographics of the school district mean that within the school, students are still quite competitive.

What is that junior high thing, then?

A middle school typically is from 6-8th grade (such as mine), though some start at 5th or 7th grade and some include 9th grade.

You could have gotten this from a cursory Wikipedia browse.

I much prefer asking people.

EDIT: Honestly, if I were to search everything on the internet, there'd be nothing left to talk about.

What music do you like?

Classical, film score, electronic music (usually the more instrumental ones), acapella, occasional pop...

I'm of course joking, but I swear hearing the song Lateralus is the closest I've ever gotten to a religious experience. It helps that I'm fascinated with the Fibonacci sequence and PHI.
