  • The small and nimble boy named Deviant had honestly, just been silent most of the time he had been with his classmates. Why? Ah, the short lad was not one to speak out much, he was more observant in his nature, thus meaning he preferred to keep quiet. Besides, he was a bit of a socially awkward person as well, and he didn't want to make himself look like an idiot. Upon coming to the next class, he noticed the door had a...brick wall in front of it. Huh, how odd. That, was not exactly what the raven haired male had been suspecting, not in the least.

"Try to touch it." The small male said, his voice was rather quiet and soft, but it was one people were prone to listen to, it was calming and soothing. Or, for now at least, it was. He simply found it rather odd a brick wall would be here of all places, perhaps it was fake? That would be one of the few solutions or explanations he could come up with, the only other one would be the teacher having the melt down and deciding to bar out all of the students from coming in. He wouldn't be surprised, children could be a nightmare, after all. Hopefully his first idea was right, for if it was, then maybe they could somehow move the brick wall.

  • Lune (Still as a cat) silently followed the student in the building and passing by Fizban classroom, made a purr like laugh seeing the little trick he did to the door.
She continued on her way to the Staff lounge for some needed coffee.

  • Elliot arrived to see the commotion surrounding Fizban's door. Amidst the controversy, Elliot mentioned to a random classmate (he still hadn't had the mind to introduce himself to potential new friends; That will come later, he thought), "A brick wall? Wait, isn't this Mental Training?"
Ever an eager fellow, he didn't wait for an answer.
Mental Training? Mental Training? he thought to himself. Concentrate, concentrate...

Elliot looked up and thought the door had shifted, but little did he realize that he himself had shifted. Elliot stood startled as he witnessed himself standing alone with Professor Fizban in the middle of the classroom.

Fizban turned to  Elliot and spoke.

"Not the solution I had in mind. But it will do. Keep in mind your power will not always work. Please take a seat somewhere."

Fizban then waited for the other student's solutions.

  • Zek lounged on the wall opposite of the brick wall and stared at it, Did it just ripple? He blinked. Zek could've sworn he just saw the brick wall, a solid object, ripple like water. He went back outside to find a pebble real quick, and the urge tempted him badly. He came back and tossed the pebble at the wall, it disappeared. If that's haw you want to play, then lets go for it... he thought to himself. He backed up in the hallway a bit, charging up. Then he sprinted, accidentally pushing everyone near him out of the way. He closed his eyes praying that what he saw with the pebble was true. Thud. Zek felt himself hit something not brick, but wooden, and he broke through. He opened his eyes and saw a teacher an a student. Looking behind him, he apparently opened the actual room door. "Ah, hello, sorry to interrupt." he said casually.

  • Deviant stared at the brick wall, trying to figure a way through it. He had seen that pebble go through the brick wall, yet his body senses were telling him it was solid. Hm, he'd have to think of another solution through the wall. Think...think...what was the idea he had read about from a library book his father had picked up when he was ten, the small lad had been curious so he had taken a peak inside. Solipsism, that's what is was, right? Perhaps...he could apply that theory here.
The small one moved up to the brick wall and placed both his hands on it, still being able to feel the brick wall, and stared at it. This wall is not real. I can only prove that I, myself, am the only real thing. This wall is not here, it's not real.
Within about two minutes or so of that, he felt himself then fall through the wall with the grace of a sleepy duck, falling behind it and in front of the real door instead.

Fizban stared at his door and then the student.

"Hopefully that door isn't broken eh."

Just then, another student fell in front of the real door.

    "Welcome. Hopefully you're okay."

Zemas looked at the brick wall. 2 students already have gone in and one student seemed to have teleported in. Zemas closed his eyes and convinced himself that the brick wall simply didn't exist. He opened his eyes and saw a wooden door, slightly broken, instead of a wall. He walked on through.

  • Deviant stood up and nodded a little, meaning he was okay. So, he had been correct. Huh, at least he had been able to figure one thing out today, good thing he had seen that kid throw a rock through the 'brick wall' or else he never would have figured it out. It had most certainly been...an interesting learning experience for his young mind, to say the least about it. Ah, well, he hoped this was just part of the class and not something that had just been totally random, or something of that sort.

  • Talia watched as her classmates attempt to get through the brick wall. She saw the pebble disappear and Zek, Zemas, and Deviant following shortly after. She walked up to the wall and placed her hand on it. She contemplated just saying, "Screw it, this is magic class," and run straight into it, but she didn't feel like making a fool out of herself. Talia knew the wall couldn't be real. She just witnessed two classmates fall right through it, but somehow, it felt a hundred percent solid. She knew that no matter how much force she applied to the wall, she would never break it. She stopped, and decided to go back out and chuck a rock at the wall again too. It wouldn't hurt, right? Once again, the rock disappeared. This solidified the evidence pointing to the fact that the wall wasn't real. Walking back up, she placed her hand on it again, and closed her eyes. She pushed and felt her hand go straight through the wall. She looked around and saw that the wall was gone. Behind it was just a door, albeit broken, but she was able to waltz right into the classroom.

  • Velvet, after watching her classmates, had by now, like anyone else with a brain, figured out that the wall was fake. You'd think one with the ability to cause such illusions would be immune to them, she thought sarcastically with yet another frown. She managed to swiftly slip into the classroom right behind Talia, having hardly any patience at the moment for some reason.

  • "Well. I guess I'll just go in then."

Karlien had seen everyone get in through the brick wall, so she knew it was an illusion. She had initially lamented not being powerful enough with her telekinesis yet, else she could simply have punched her way through it.

As it was, she simply convinced herself the wall wasn't there, and walked through the door when it appeared.

  • Laura watched her classmates enter the classroom in their own unique methods and took mental notes of each of them, apparently intrigued by the gentleman who turned invisible and passed through the wall to enter the classroom without solving the illusion door challenge set up by Professor Fizban. Aware that one of the methods of countering illusion-related magic is to simply convince her brain that it was not as perceived by her sense of sight, she brought out her favourite doll which had been nicknamed "Alice" and controlled her to walk towards the same path the rest of her classmates had went through. Upon seeing her doll disappear, she followed suit shortly before keeping the doll, and found herself within the room, where the rest of the class had assembled.

Fizban saw all of his students arrived. He used the anti-spell to dispel the 'wall'.

"You have all passed your first test. That wall was a mere illusion. Anyhow, Welcome to Mind Training. In my class, you shall learn the magic of illusions, and defense against them."

"That wall was one of the lowest forms of that magic. There are many types and more advanced. For example, the weakest spell would only be seen, but anything would be able to pass through it. While the highest advanced form would be touchable, seeable, and even inanimate objects will not be able to pass through it."

"That is why in order to learn illusion magic, we must train the mind first. Before I proceed further, any questions?"

Fizban waited a minute of silence.

"No questions eh? I guess it's all your first day. Now, detecting these illusions may seem hard. But, illusions usually give out magic aura. Of course the more advanced the illusion, the harder to detect, but it is possible. After you find an illusion, you can either use a spell to dispel it, or convince yourself its not real. I will teach you a weak spell now... The incantation is just like this."

    Fizban said the words.

"And this spell will allow you to sense magical aura. It will be hard to pinpoint these auras at first, but master it and magic will be hard to hide from you."

Fizban said the incantation for this spell.

"Now, I've laid several hidden compartments in this classroom for you all to find. You may work together. If you manage to finish early, I'll give some free time to talk before class ends. There are a total of 15 hidden compartments.
