Biography: Zek Orthsburg is a more intelligent that the average student, but not by that much. He maintains the grade of A's and B's, with the occasional C.

He figured out the tricks of wielding fire on his fingers one or two years ago. He had been taught this by his grandfather, before he passed away. He promised to keep this a secret unless if it's an emergency.

Now, in Malestrom academy, he hopes that he will make many unique friends to help him along through these years in the academy.

Biography: Talia grew up in a loving family, but when her mother died of cancer when she was eight, her father lost it and became an alcoholic. She moved to her uncle, who had a cottage in the woods, and she would spend time in the nature with the animals. Her uncle may have been called crazy due to his life in the woods, but Talia didn't care. At the age of twelve, she learned his secret, to transform into other animals and living beings. For the next four years, her uncle taught her shapeshifting, until now, where she got an acceptance letter to Maelstrom Academy...

I won't be around for about 24 hours as I have an examination tomorrow, so I do apologize for delaying the providing of curriculum schedules.

I am back and have posted the schedule for our first day in Maelstrom Academy.

In case you are not yet aware, all of our student characters have been assigned to Class A. There are a total of 10 classes for our cohort, 12 in each class.

Biography: Morris was born in small village to his parents who ran an apothecary and dealt with the sick and dying as best as they could. It did not take them long to realize that their son had an extraordinary ability to heal and spent many years as he grew up helping them. One day a sick wizard ended up in their little apothecary and he helped his parents heal him The rather rich wizard saw how much potential he had and in return for saving his life, paid for his education in magic. Though the school he went to was not the most prestigious, he managed to excel in ways few others could. After this he went for many years going from town to village helping as he could, remembering how much pain he saw in the younger years of his life. As he got older though, he realized he could no longer continue these long journeys(For healing magic is rather heavy on its user) and decided to help others learn the secrets of healing at Maelstrom Academy. While he did not realize how little interest so many of his students would take on the subject, he tries to keep their attention the best he can.

I just want to be clear on what I'm supposed to be teaching before I post. Will there be exams and everything, at some point?

As the instructor for Combat Training, the scope of topics you can teach is very diverse, varying from hand-to-hand combat to mastering one's magic ability. It's ultimately up to you (which means you can choose and name the facility/room you want to teach in, you just have to describe what's inside) which you wish to start with and yep, there will be a major examination at some point but teachers can give graded assignments every now and then.

For now, whenever you are ready, you can assume that all students have arrived in your class, unless a student character deliberately posted that (s)he will be skipping class or the equivalent.
