Nothing's on my mind, it got blown. NCIX made a pun for its viewers, targetting unsubscribed viewers wearing glasses and a blue shirt... I own one (1) blue shirt that I rarely even use since it's sleeveless. Naturally I awarded them a subscription for this successful coincidence.

I enjoyed my first day in Berlin. Fantastic hotel right in the center. Took a good walk and saw a lot of different architecture, then walked through the Holocaust memorial and the Brandenburg Gate, both impressive in their own ways.

Hey I was back in IRC monday! was it monday..?

So, everyone at work has been furloughed one day a week due to the budget situation starting next week. My (and everyone else's) salary is getting cut 20%. Now I have to figure out how to make it work. =/

It's better than being laid off, but having to make up a $400/month cut is going to be very difficult. I'm going to have to look into other ways to make money. =/

I'd suggest keeping a journal and using it for free writing.  That usually works wonders for everything.

Wait, did you end up getting completely laid off? At that point, wouldn't you qualify for unemployment?
