There's this story going around about the US introducing mandatory microchipping, it's a hoax, but it scares me, they use those chips to monitor your life, to spy on your interactions, and to kill you if they feel like it.

There is so much wrong with me, I seem confident on the internet but I'm not. I have panic attacks, flashbacks, and I'm very anxious. I have horrible nightmares and wake up screaming, and don't get much sleep. I'm just not sure how I can keep going.

The important thing to remember is that you have already been through and survived a lot. I'm sure with time, effort, and some help you can overcome anything that life throws at you in the future.

In other news, I finished the first draft of my State of the Region address. I will look it over later for revisions, but as of now it only has 7 paragraphs compared to 16 last time. xD

Lovely older gentleman got really excited about Zane novels today; it was...both oddly adorable and a little disconcerting to hear some of those titles come out of his mouth.

I took my final exams of high school today and passed both of them, I will soon be a high school graduate.

Humanity is too irresponsible to deal with advanced technology.

We're not even responsible enough to be trusted with combustion engines without fucking up the planet. The Chinese have made a garbage dump out of their hitherto beautiful country and the Western world is just paying lip service to environmentalism because they don't want to divert money and effort there and fucking with Big Oil's revenue, only to be one-upped by the Chinese, who truly don't give a shit and aren't hiding it.

We're having cool and dry weather here, and I'm so glad after weeks of hot, muggy weather...summer weather drains the fuck out of me, and combined with a 10-hour summer work day I've felt like an irritable zombie. Cool weather and some rest are exactly what I've needed to rejuvenate me.
