What kind of medical technology does Aíne Hiwat have? Personally I think it would be better to not be too advanced since if it is then it would just be Little Nano bots doing everything.

I just thought it would be more interesting and I would have more to do if medical technology hasn't advanced as far as the rest of the tech.

I was under the impression that we would discover some sort of alien artefact which we can't comprehend, and then Aine would declare it as a gift from the gods, while other characters would ridicule the idea.

Nanobots are already thing in our day and age. I imagine a civ being as advanced as the one in this RP would also be really advanced med procedures.

Not necessarily. There are always medical officers in sci fi shows and videogames. You would still have to figure out what's wrong and work the equipment. Also, we wouldn't have all of that machinery out in the field. Plus, you'd have all of that medical knowledge that most others wouldn't.

Think of Dr. Chakwas in Mass Effect, if you've played it. She doesn't really do a whole lot in terms of literally giving surgery or anything since they have medi-gel and the machinery for that, but she runs the medical bay and is still very much an integral part of the team.

Doctors still have to program or modify nanobots—and complete the more in-depth procedures, I would think.  I'd say our doctor's job is pretty safe

Quick question:  Do you think that 100x SOL is a bit low?  I mean, we've been working at it for six years, so we should probably have lots to show for it.  Six years, on the most advanced starship that we have, while still in our space.  I wanted to make it a little better than that, but considering that our farthest outpost is only 6.5 lightyears out, I didn't want to make a return journey to Wintreath absurdly short.  With the 100x SOL drive, we could get back to the homeworld in about a month, give or take a few days.  With a 200x SOL, we'd take 2 weeks max—which seems like a little much, considering that our primary propulsion system now can't exceed the speed of light.  Thoughts?  Comments from fellow Warp Enthusiasts?  I await your responses with great anticipation.

If you want to join at this planet, we're currently at the outermost outpost of Wintreath. It wouldn't make sense for experimental tech to be developed there. In any case, Robin's character has already been developing and implementing a warp drive over the last several years.

And my label may be "Chief Engineer", but my guy knows how to handle guns.

Question: has anyone had any sort of contact with Bodobol?
