Sounds really good actually! North can then incapacitate the other robots, and then we can land on the station only to find a bunch of knocked out crewmen and North on the bridge or something. Probably some sort of gas or something, I'd assume. Nonlethal, obviously

Well the scouting party hasn't encountered any other robots that know of their location yet, right? So really HKR just needs to drag Aleksandr and Anderson back to the shuttle where the rest of us will be unconscious.

The robots know of the shuttle's location, though, or at least the first ones we encountered somehow knew.

How would the rescue party get inside the station though since the hanger door locked down?

Is the maintenance shaft relatively empty?

Also, for those less aware of Sci-Fi conventions and so forth, how much space should we expect in said maintenance shaft?

EDIT: Also, how do these droids communicate with each other, and with the command center? Is it safe to assume that they have some wireless capabilities, and are thus somewhat unsecured from a virtual attack?

And finally, can we assume there are computers throughout the station that are linked up to the command center?

1. The following is an approximate dimension of a maintenance shaft in Star Trek, which is what this RP is essentially based on.  I would also assume that they're relatively unblocked. 

2. I'm not entirely sure how they communicate, but I'd assume their communication processes would be independent of the station central computer.  And I'd also assume that they have wireless network capabilities and are susceptible to viruses, I suppose.  Finally yes, there are computer stations on most Starfleet vessels connected to the bridge/command centre, but if we're still going on loosely based on Star Trek, I believe that most manual overrides are only capable of being entered through the bridge/engineering with lots of time. 

3. To be clear, most of my assumptions about the robots are just sort of conjectures from the borg/Lt. Cmdr. Data in Star Trek TNG.  @Aragonn might know more about them than I do.

That would be tricky. I suppose you could say that as a "sentient being" HKR can rearrange his programming into such a way that the virus would do nothing to him.

Hmm, I would have thought HKR used different software than these droids, and would thus remain unaffected. If he doesn't, then Hendrik could simply tell him to switch off any wireless functions, so as to remain unaffected, right?

Anyway, I was thinking that this could maybe trigger the gas that knocks us out, as the ship's last defence mechanism or something.

The tricky part I haven't gotten an answer for yet, is why Hendrik went silent for a few hours. Maybe something like being surrounded by droids after moving away from the rest of the people at the shuttle, and thus not being able to say anything, lest the droids hear him?

If everyone's happy with this, I'll go ahead and do an IC post. So please raise your objections soon.
