Hmm, @Commander_Zemas, there is one... I don't know whether I'd call it a rule, exactly, but certainly a serious guideline, that OOC knowledge should never translate to IC knowledge. It is perfectly reasonable to think that the captain might be aware of Hendrik's dinner, despite not being invited himself, but then you have to explain how he found out about this.I've been meaning to mention this when the captain thought to himself that he had best start keeping an eye on @Gerrick 's character too. Certainly, there would be IC hints for something like this, but not explaining what they are gives the impression of one-upping someone purely based on OOC knowledge.
No, he doesn't have to stop looking at the network, but it should just always have to be mentioned, otherwise it feels like it comes out of thin air.

I know we probably wont make it to the "edge" of the universe but we should look at a theory.Personally, I think that the universe is infinite and expanding into nothing. This does not rule at the possibility of multiple universes, of course. I also find the simulation hypothesis rather compelling.Of course, this is rather irrelevant to the RP, since at that point, still nobody would know anything about the nature of the universe. At the rate the USS Wintreath is travelling, we aren't going to make it to the other side of our galaxy, let alone to the edge of the universe.
RIP mah family. Those fools deserved their treatment.
