To be honest, getting a RP going has never been my strong suit

I suck at thinking up a new RP, but keeping it going and suggesting ways for it to be more interesting is something I excel at.

It's not just a theory anymore. It was proven to be true in something like 1971.

But it would be inconvenient for the plot, so I'm on board with with ignoring it.

Theory in colloquial and scientific use have different meanings, though. A scientific theory refers to a well-supported explanation.

And in any case, most envisioned FTL technologies are loopholes around Einstein's theories.

Yes. We don't have a teleporter. Unless some magical alien gives it to us lol.

20 laser batteries - 6 small laser batteries on each side and 4 big laser batteries on each side. and a torpedo/missile system or whatever you call those these days. There are also minor AA turrets.

Alien technology may be stronger or equal force than ours.

IDK to make the laser guns like star wars ones though.
