So I've read through all this and seen lots of opinions and ideas passed around... But partly to be contrary and play devil's advocate, and also to broaden horizons here I am going to suggest something else.
What if we expand the powers that the Underhusen holds, so while it still remains the legislative branch that is elected and is still "overseen" by the Overhusen, it will also have more powers outside of legislation. A few ideas could be organising regional events, and acting as representatives to other regions, these are just off the top of my head
. But this would have the added effect of removing dependency on the Monarchy and Riksråd, and allowing citizen's who might not otherwise be involved with certain regional activities to look into them while in office or because of motivation by the offices...
I understand this might be even more radical than removing the UH entirely, but I still think it is worth considering...
So I guess I'll maybe start a topic to discuss this specifically in a bit, but those are my personal ideas on it...
