Read about the zombie apocalypse event here if you are unfamiliar with it!

Wintreath now has less than 48 hours to prepare to face the Zombie hordes once again. Since the founding of our region, we have not only eradicated the zombie virus, we have done so while keeping our borders open, making Wintreath a safe shelter for refugees from other regions at a time other regions close their borders, not even to mention the positive effect on our regional population. In both years, we have been able to do this because of a dedicated, diligent group of people that kept our region zombie-free throughout the crises.

This year, surviving will be even more challenging. We may be a tempting target for those that want to spread the zombie plague around, but I have faith that as long as there's a dedicated group of people that will work to protect the region, we will defend our legacy and do just as well this year as we did last year.  And that's what brings me here. I'm looking for people that are able to defend this land from the zombie hordes once again to join the Frozen Vanguard. Once zombies start showing up in Wintreath, this force will:

1) Research a cure to the zombie virus
2) Once available, launch cure missiles to other nations within the region until there are no zombies remaining
3) Report any nations spreading zombies to me for potential banjection, especially nations that come into the region for the specific purpose of spreading zombies.

Please post here if you are able to do this and have a decent amount of time to devote to protecting Wintreath during the event. I will also send out a message to all nations later in the week so that they can prepare to face the challenge ahead of us. It is a tough challenge...but I know that we can see it through.

This sucks. The event apparently starts at 9 pm and I have work the following day, so I will be able to start the research but I will only be able to participate on the last five hours of the event, and by that point it's likely mostly over...

If my flu forces me to skip work I will be joining you, so you can count me as a volunteer, but hold no high hopes.

My science is not terribly good but my military, with its state of the art equipment and soldiers raised from birth, is awesome. What should I do?

The resources of Andromedian's Science Council are considerable, but don't let the military hear about it--they'll act like they do against all other threats and nuke them.

Deltnon would perhaps be better on the ground... their army has mech suits, but they're currently in the Rejected Realms after the liberation of Asia.

Crushita is one of the most primitive nations in all of NS. We will be going elsewhere to join the horde to say the least. I won't do anything to Wintreath though

When the event starts, a new section of your nation page will be available where you'll select to research the cure.
